Self-love Shifts your Focus
Love before anyone else can.
If I had to write a list of all the reasons how our moods and focus can change when we practice self-love, the list would have been way too long. Us as individuals, we all want to be loved and feel loved whether it was within a friendship or a romantic relationship.
We all want the feelings to be reciprocated one way or the other but, in order for you to experience that kind of love you have to first love yourself internally as a person. You have to be able to have enough in your cup to pour into others in areas of friendships, relationships etc…
What is self-love?
Loving yourself daily despites the good and the bad
Being/Staying true to yourself
Setting boundaries
Practicing self-care
What self-care can do for you:
BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN YOU
You feel different when you practice self-love, your smile gets wider and your heart gets fuller. You start feeling good by accepting the freedom of staying true to yourself in all ways. You start being uncomfortable by walking in into your purpose in doing all the things you enjoy. It’s good to be uncomfortable in your skin at times, it pushes you to want and do more for yourself especially in the rigid areas that fear you the most.
2. A CLEARER VISION
When you practice self-love, you have more time to analyze every little details in your life even the ones you didn’t think matters. I know you may think “HOW?”.
You start to become more aware of your environment and associations that brings you happiness, joy and peace. When you love yourself, your lenses are more clear in areas of lack. You start discovering all the barriers that were hindering you from stepping out and embracing your true self. You start giving credits and appreciating everything knowing you are doing the most authentic things in life.
3. GROWTH
When you are practicing self-love, you will grow into a better version of yourself. It will bring out your self-confidence, you will walk with a broader shoulder, your head held high and even talk different.
